MINISTRIES
AUDIO MINISTRY
This ministry is responsible for operating the sound
system during all services and events.
This ministry serves the congregation by providing
high quality tape recordings that are
available immediately following the worship
services. The Audio Ministry also records
the weekly broadcast tape for the local radio station.
BEAUTIFICATION MINISTRY
The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church seeks in every way to promote
Christ and the Spirit of excellence. For This reason, Pleasant
Hill Adopted Nona Street, which is the main thoroughfare into
the community where the Church is located. This ministry
maintains the street adoption flower beds and works to
promote cleanliness and beauty along the street.
CHERUB CHOIR
This choir is for children ages 7 – 11. The focus of
this choir is to sing simple songs that are fun and
instructional as it relates to the Kingdom of God.
CULINARY MINISTRY
This ministry is responsible for the planning, purchasing
and preparation of all meals at the church.
DEACON FAMILY VISITATION MINISTRY
The Deacons are appointed by the Pastor to handle the church
finances, look after the building(s) and grounds, provide for proper
facilities for worship, teaching, and edification of the body, look
after the widows (and widowers) and orphans, and assist the
pastor in a number of ways to enhance his spiritual oversight.
DEACONESS MINISTRY
The Deaconess Ministry prepares Holy Communion
for the first Sunday of each month and
other services as scheduled. The Deaconesses
also assist in helping families in need
and during periods bereavement.
