Actively participates in the work of the church
through prayer groups and Outreach to the women of
Pleasant Hill and throughout the community.
Youth Bible Study Ministry
Youth Bible Study meets each Wednesday night at
7:00 p.m. Lessons are designed to engage the youth
towards knowing God and living Godly lives.
YOUTH DEPARTMENT
The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Leesville’s youth department
is an active part of the church and community. The youth
department includes all youth ministries: youth choir, youth
ushers, cherub choir, drill team, praise dance ministry, mime
ministry, youth cheerleaders and youth sports teams. The youth
department meets each month on the Saturday before the third
Sunday. The youth department participates in the Louisiana
Baptist Youth Encampment Program. This program involves
the youth with young people from all over the state in regional
and state ministry competitions. The youth department also is
active in district, state and national denominational activities.
YOUTH USHER MINISTRY
Ushers are servants that are doorkeepers in the House of God and
guard it all times during the service. They prepare the Church and
see that it is in proper condition for the worship services. Youth
ushers typically serve on 3rd Sundays and Annual Youth Day.
