Tithing means giving one tenth of all income to Christ and His
Church. The tithe belongs to God: “It is holy unto the Lord.”
(Leviticus 27:30)
. We owe the tithe to the Lord. It is His!
Christians who study the Word of God realize that it is biblically
obedient to render the tithe unto the Lord before giving an
offering. The offering is “extra” that is given to say, “Lord, I thank
you!” God does not bless us in our giving because of amounts,
but according to our willingness to be obedient to His word. All
believers are to tithe as regularly as their income is received.
