decorations, etc. A protective covering should be placed on the
floor if you plan to use lit candles as part of the ceremony.
Note: There is a $100.00 fee for weddings in which neither party
is a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. This fee is to be
paid directly to the Pastor before the ceremony begins. All
other policies set forth herein will apply. Pastor Garner does
not charge a fee for couples who are members of the churc.
However, a love gift is appropriate and appreciated.
House Blessings
The Pastor will be more than happy to perform
house blessings should his calendar permit.
Illness
In case of illness, your family deacon and new members mentor
member should be contacted immediately. Arrangements
will be made for continued prayer and visitation.
Funerals
The right to have a funeral at the
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church is a privilege
that is entirely a Pastoral function.
Funerals involving persons who are not
members of the Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church are left to the Pastor’s discretion.
Should the family of the deceased choose to have someone
other than the Pastor administer the funeral rites, they
should also choose to hold the service at the funeral home or
some other location, unless extenuating circumstances are
involved. Again, this will be left to the Pastor’s discretion.
Counseling
Times are filled with moments of crisis and conflict in
which we need spiritual guidance. If and when that
time arises, please contact the Pastor’s Secretary and
an initial counseling session will be scheduled.
Financial Contributions
If you have questions or need information regarding your financial
contributions, corrections, and / or statements . Please contact the
church office and leave a message for Sis. Anna Janice-Matthews.
Transportation
If you have need of transportation to or from any church service
or function please contact the church office and leave your
address, contact information, and service you wish to attend.
